Post Malone Performs “Psycho” With Ty Dolla Sign at 2018 American Music Awards
Post Malone debuted his new look in a major way at the 2018 American Music Awards tonight (Oct. 9). Joined by Ty Dolla $ign, Post performed his hit song "Psycho" from his most recent album Beerbongs & Bentleys. He also surprised the crowd by going into a solo performance of "Better Now."
Standing atop a pared-down stage surrounded by coals and lit up by a giant fan, Post and Ty Dolla spit their verses while donning some classically dope outfits. Post wore a metallic silver suit and sported his new short haircut, while Ty Dolla wore a floor-length fur coat.
As Post launched into a lively performance of "Better Now," pyrotechnics lit up the stage as the crowd cheered on. 21 Savage, whom he collaborated on for his other hit song "Rockstar," was there to support the rapper and sang along to both songs. It's been a pretty great night for Posty all-in-all, as he was awarded Best Pop/Rock Artist early on.
Other winners thus far include Cardi B, who won Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Artist, and Migos, who took home the trophy for Best Pop/Rock Group. Cardi B also performed her hit song "I Like It" with Bad Bunny and J Balvin.
