Oktoberfest Fun For The Whole Family in Dekalb October 2

October is almost here and so is the fun at the annual Oktoberfest in DeKalb, Texas. It all takes place Saturday, October 2 in Downtown DeKalb and there will be fun for the entire family all day long.

Starting at 6 AM to 9 AM Enjoy The Pancake Breakfast at the new Fire Station on Cobb Burkett Lane.

Food and Arts and Craft Vendors will be set up from 8 AM to 4 PM on Runnels and Bowie Streets and at the Family Life Center.

The Oktoberfest Parade starts at 10 AM at the nursing home and will go down Hwy 82

Tons of Activities Throughout the Day

From 11 AM to 4 PM there are a lot of things to check out.  The Jeep Show Rails to Trails along Highway 82. The Art Show with the DHS Art Club will be at the Family Life Center. There will also be a Quilt Show DeKalb, a Cake Walk, tons of kids games and the Sunshine Carnival for the kids.

Enjoy delicious Beans and Cornbread at the Williams House Museum, a dunking booth plus four pegs and live music from Abbi Kreuger Capps.
