Car Lovers Get Ready For The Spring Car Show in Texarkana

It's finally May and this weekend will be a great time to enjoy cars, music and food. It's the Four States Auto Museum's Annual Spring Car Show in downtown Texarkana.

Check out all the vehicles this Saturday, May 7 at the Four States Auto Museum located at 217 Laurel Street in Texarkana, Arkansas.

If you have a car or truck you can enter. If yours is brand new, a classic or an antique. Then register! Registration is Saturday morning between 8 AM to 10 AM. The Awards presentation will be at 3:30 PM. There will be a Best of Show prize of $250 plus additional cash awards will be handed out too. The registration fee is just $30 and a $5 discount to Museum members. There will also be a Swap Meet with a space fee of $30.

Bring the family and see all the beautiful vehicles, plus enjoy live music. There will also be grilled burgers and homemade desserts for purchase.

There will be door prizes, a 50/50 pot and a TV raffle. The winner of the TV will be drawn at the Bandit Run on May 22. Proceeds from this event will help support the Four States Auto Museum. It is also partly funded by the City of Texarkana, Arkansas Advertising & Promotion Commission.

Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.
