With Summer in full effect and the temperatures rising we wanted to know what is the most popular ice cream flavor in Arkansas?
Now that we have had our share of near 100-degree temperatures and this Summer is feeling like it may be a long hot one, what better way to cool off than with some delicious creamy ice cream.
In my house, we tend to be a little boring, and vanilla is where it's at for sure. We do have the typical caramel and chocolate toppings but vanilla ice cream is the favorite. Now if we get a little adventurous we may have some strawberry or even a little chocolate ice cream. I will certainly be ready for when they come to Texarkana.
I looked up what the most popular ice cream flavors were for the United States and the story I found on Travel and Leisure had me a little stumped on how they picked these 'favorite flavors'. Our neighbors to the north picked 'Cookie Dough' ice cream as their favorite. This is a flavor that my son and I can certainly appreciate.
Folks in Louisiana really like 'Birthday Cake' ice cream. My daughter is a fan of this flavor, but for me, it's really too sweet for my taste.
Well, folks in the natural state picked 'Rainbow Sherbet' as their favorite. I can't remember the last time I had 'Rainbow Sherbet'. Maybe at a birthday party that I went to as a kid. What do you think about this pick?
