Although the Royal Wedding is only a few days away, it looks like the bride-to-be is going to have to make some last-minute changes.

On Monday (May 14), TMZ reported Meghan Markle's father, Thomas, is skipping the nuptials after a scandal broke, revealing he staged paparazzi photos after the media portrayed him in a negative light.

According to Mr. Markle, he regrets releasing the "stupid and hammy" photos and has opted out of attending the ceremony because he doesn't want to embarrass his daughter or the royal family. Unfortunately, that leaves Meghan without a father to walk her down the aisle.

Although there has yet to be word if someone else is going to walk the Suits down the aisle on her big day, the Kensington Palace did release a statement via ET:

"This is a deeply personal moment for Ms. Markle in the days before her wedding," the statement reads. "She and Prince Harry ask again for understanding and respect to be extended to Mr. Markle in this difficult situation."

The Royal Wedding is set to take place on Saturday, May 19.
