Arkansas Scholarship Lottery officials have announced that the Mega Millions' game beginning jackpots and increases will have to be adjusted according to sales rather than minimum increments due to recent sales declines.

Due to the declining sales because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the starting jackpot will be adjusted down to $20 Million. Increases between drawing will be determined based on sales between drawings, not on minimum increases as before.

Previously, the jackpot started at $40 million, and the minimum increase was $5 million for each new drawing.

Friday nights (April 9) drawing is currently at $136 Million.

Mega Millions’ tickets are $2 each and are sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Drawings are held each Tuesday and Friday.
