Local Schools Participate in “Positivity Chain”
I had a chance to be involved in a great community building project from the Folks at Healthcare Express and their Klondike academy.
The "Positivity Chain" is a project started by the folks at the Klondike Academy to show how positivity can be conveyed in this leadership project. Each link of the chain a message of positivity, and the chains were put together by local schools and businesses, including all of us at Power 95-9.
Suki O'Neil had this to say about the project:
"No matter what happens in life, there is always something that you can share that is positive".
This year the chain was over 6,000 feet long! That's over a mile of uplifting positivity. A big thank you to Kilpatrick Elementary, Pleasant Grove Intermediate and Elementary, Redwater Middle School and Elementary, Maud Elementary, Nash Elementary, Texarkana College, Texas A&M Texarkana, and all the businesses that participated in the community positivity chain. And thank you to Klondike Academy for letting us be a part of something so awesome.
