The Little River Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Ashley Chandler has been selected as the Chamber’s new director.  Ashley began her duties on August 1st and is excited to serve the county in her new position.

The Chamber Board looks forward to Mrs. Chandler upholding the Chamber’s mission and being a leader and advocate for our business community.

According to a recent press release, Chandler is a graduate of Ashdown High School and is a licensed cosmetologist and owned her own salon for 15 years in the community.  She most recently worked as an educational paraprofessional.

She is married to Derek Chandler and they have two children Nolan and Brynlee, who are students at Ashdown Public Schools.

Chandler said, “As the Little River County Chamber of Commerce Director, my goal is to bring value to our community.  Small businesses are the heart of the county.  I look forward to partnerships with business owners that help our little corner of Arkansas grow and flourish.”

Board President, Mallory Bailey adds, “We are excited to welcome Ashley as the new director of the Little River Chamber of Commerce.  With her skill set, enthusiasm, creativity, and passion for our community, we are confident in the future of the chamber under her leadership.”
