Kelly Clarkson's first Christmas special now has a home: it's coming to NBC this holiday season. The show will be called Kelly Clarkson's (Cautionary) Christmas Tale, and as previously reported, it'll be taped October 30 at the Venetian in Las Vegas. Tickets for that taping are now on sale at Venetian.com.

The title of the show seems to indicate that it will have some sort of storyline or narrative, rather than simply Kelly belting out a bunch of holiday hits with a few special guests.  Stay tuned for more details.

The Christmas special lines up with the release of Kelly's first holiday album, Wrapped in Red, due out October 29. The project features Kelly's take on classics such as "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "Blue Christmas" as well as new songs "Wrapped in Red," "Underneath the Tree," and "Winter Dreams (Brandon's Song)," which Kelly wrote for her fiancé,Brandon Blackstock.

Wrapped in Red is now available for pre-order at iTunes, Amazon and Target.com.
