Texarkana’s ‘Shop With a Cop & Firefighter’ Fundraiser Launched
It's not time for parents to sign up the kids just yet, but we all know that Christmas will be here quicker than any of us "adults" will be ready to accept. That means it's time to raise funds for the Texarkana Texas "Shop With A Cop & Firefighter" program.
Shop with a Cop & Firefighter is an official 501:C3 charitable organization so your contributions are tax-deductible. I'm no tax expert, but I believe that goes for donating items for prizes, or you're just buying tickets for a chance to win like me. The ticket selling has begun for the raffle drawings that will take place on October 11, 2023.
Tickets need to be sold and sponsors are still being recruited as we get closer to the big day with the Big Guy... (Santa).
Take A Look At Some Of The Prizes So Far:
- $100 gift certificates from Eternal Beauty.
- Over $250 in On the Border certificates.
- Basket from Sling Fit valued over $75.
- Basket from 5 Star Nutrition.
- Free oil changes from Robbins Toyota.
- Buff City Soap gift set.
- About $60 in tickets to Cinemark.
- 73 pc. 1/4 inch-drive socket set from O'Reillys.
- Salsa from Henderson Salsa & Monjunis.
- Multiple gift cards ranging from $25-$50.
The Grand Prize will be worth over $250!
Even with all that incentive what it's really about is helping disadvantaged kids in the Texarkana area have a great Christmas.
