Hot Rod Magazine ‘Power Tour 2013′ Scheduled to Stop in Texarkana
Get ready, the premiere Hot Rod automotive tour in the country is coming to town. Sunday June 2, 2013 the Hot Rod Magazine "Hot Rod Power Tour" will be making a stop in Texarkana.
Widely considered to be one of the best high end automotive tours in the country, the "Hot Rod Power Tour" will kick-off Saturday June 1, in Arlington Texas, and over 7 days will make it's way more than 1,400 miles through five states to it's final destination at Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Concord, N.C. on Friday June 7.
Along the journey of seven cities in seven days, the tour will attract more than 4,500 hot rods, street rods, classic muscle cars, custom trucks, and street machines of all makes and models, and is expected to draw the attention of more than 75,000 spectators.
Texarkana, Arkansas is scheduled to be the second stop on the tour Sunday June 2, at the Fourstates Fairgrounds. Hotels in town are quickly filling up, as the tour will be staying overnight, and leave from the fairgrounds on Monday June 3 going to the third stop on the tour, Little Rock, Arkansas.
The cars will begin making their way into town and check-in at the Fourstates Fairgrounds at noon on Sunday June 2. The cars will be parked and on display until 7 p.m., and there will be lots of live events, entertainment, and vendors on hand too... Plus, SPECTATORS ARE FREE!
Locals that would like to join the tour/show for only one day can register at the event.
