Help Families In Need With The Bramlett ‘Beans And Cornbread’ Fundraiser
Make plans now to attend the Bramlett "Beans and Cornbread" fundraiser in its new location at the Texarkana Texas Convention center from 11 until 1 on Thursday, December 2
You will be able to enjoy beans and cornbread for lunch on Thursday, December 2 for the 23rd annual Bramlett Beans and Cornbread Community Fundraiser hosted by former Mayor James Bramlett and the Texarkana, Texas Parks and Recreation Department.
The luncheon will be from 11 AM to 1 PM at a new location this year the Texarkana Texas side Convention Center. Lunch includes beans and cornbread, drinks, and dessert. A good lunch and a great cause for just $5 per person or six non-perishable food items.
Suggested non-perishable items canned goods, soups, veggies, fruits, stews, tuna, and canned chicken. You can also donate packaged goods like rice, macaroni, pasta, and sauces. Other items that will be accepted include instant potatoes, instant oatmeal, grits, cereals, toaster pastries, and snack cakes. You can also donate necessities like flour, sugar, and cornmeal or assorted dry beans, crackers, cookies, candy, and peanut butter.

All the proceeds from the event will benefit the Christmas basket program a volunteer effort to provide Holiday Food for Texarkana USA citizens who are in need. The initiative led by the cities of Texarkana Texas and Texarkana Arkansas along with the text can of water utilities who together help provide over 100 baskets to local families.
