Have you ever 'Paid It Forward'?

I know we have all heard the term pay it forward, but what is it actually? According to Wikipedia.

"The expression "pay it forward" is used to describe the concept of asking that a good deed be repaid by having it done for others instead."

Last night is the night to visit my mother and we went to go pick up dinner for the whole family. Addy, my daughter is a big McDonald fan and of course, the chicken nuggets are her favorite. After putting in our order and making our way to the drive-up window to pay and the girl let us know that the person in front of us had paid for our order.

Keep in mind, our order for four people was over 20, so I was a bit shocked. I asked the girl at the window if we could pay for the next person in the drive-thrus line order and she said of course. The order for the person behind us was less than five dollars.

Paying it forward is a nice thing that you can do for someone else and as Mark Twain said: "kindness is a language the deaf can hear and the blind can see".
