4th Annual Pay It Forward Weekend January 15 – 17

We should do something nice for each other every day, but in reality that doesn't happen. So the third weekend of the new year has been set aside to be a special weekend to pay it forward. Beginning Friday, January 15 through Sunday, January 17, find someone to do something nice for during the annual "Pay It Forward Weekend."

The group that puts this event together each year is asking everyone to do at least one random act of kindness (more than one is even better). It is very easy to participate. All you have to do is do something for someone or some organization without expecting anything in return. Sometimes it seems that we have forgotten how to do a kind act without expecting something in return. Pay for a stranger’s meal, send someone a card, volunteer your time. The ideas are endless.

Join the fun on Facebook and let's watch it spread like a wildfire. Each person can make a difference and possibly change someone's life. Get on board, invite all your Facebook friends to join and let's help change someone's world during this special weekend. It very well might be your life that gets changed.

Two years ago the group had 484,743 people who accepted the invitation to participate in this event. Six million people saw the invitation and that's just the Facebook results, which do not include the people outside of Facebook who took part.
