About four months ago, Wendy's rolled out a new logo. They gave the Wendy character a makeover, and switched from their old, boxy, Western-looking lettering to a font that looks more like handwriting.

And now, someone just noticed there might be a hidden message in it. The way Wendy's collar is drawn, the pattern on it spells out the word 'mom'. Here is a close up of the hidden message.

Wendy's corporate office says that subliminal message was an accident. Quote, "We can assure you it was unintentional."

But since that logo came out, their sales are up 25%. A blog about logos, called Stocklogos, says maybe it is because of the hidden message.

They wrote, quote, "When growing up, our brains learn to love and associate home-cooked meals with a safe and loving environment. It should not be a surprise to see Wendy's associating their refreshed brand with Mom's cooking."

I think it has to do with the new items on the menu and the focus on great tasting food. The new pretzel burger is a new take on one of our favorites.
