Harvest Food Bank Heads Back Out This Week To Columbia County, AR

Harvest Regional Food Bank gets back out on the road this week to distribute emergency food boxes for Columbia County, Arkansas residents only, this Wednesday, October 5, 2022, starting at 9 AM.

The location where the Harvest truck will be parked is 102 E. Main St., in Waldo, Arkansas, right there at the Waldo Fire Department. This distribution will start at 9 AM and will last until approximately 11 AM or until all boxes have been distributed.

“We have several communities in our rural service area that are not fully served by local partner agencies. To be sure that the residents in these areas are served, we are providing direct service where needed.” said Camille Coker Wrinkle, Executive Director of Harvest Regional Food Bank

Since the pandemic began, Harvest Regional Food Bank Mobile Pantries have been turned into “drive-thru” distributions, with food boxes being loaded directly into vehicles. Recipients are asked to please not exit their vehicles or park to pick up food. Simply get in the line with the other vehicles and wait your turn.

What You Need:

Recipients must bring photo identification or proof of address to verify they are a resident of Columbia County to be able to receive this distribution.

Limitations are one box per household and 2 households per vehicle maximum. The next Mobile Pantry scheduled for Columbia County Residents will be October 5, 2022.
