Hands On Texarkana 'Wine And Tapas' Fundraiser Friday

Hands-On Texarkana's annual Tapas and Wine Event takes place from 6:00 until 9 P.M. October 1, on the beautiful grounds of the Collins Home located at 1915 Olive Street, in Texarkana, Texas.

This is the 13th annual event and it will feature great food by local chef Jeff Loving and great live entertainment. The theme this year is 'Puttin on The Ritz' with a 1920's theme. Partygoers are encouraged to dress up their favorite garb from the era, but it is not required.

This event features five-course tapas portions presented by Texarkana Chef Jeff Loving. It will also feature a wine pairing and a silent auction. Make plans to join "Hands-on Texarkana" for a wonderful evening in a friendly, casual environment.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the programs of "Hands-On Texarkana", which includes volunteer opportunity connections, parenting classes, senior transportation, and a youth volunteer program. "Hands-On Texarkana" is about service to the community through volunteerism.

The 2020 County Health Rankings values were calculated using mortality counts from the 2016-2018 National Center for Health Statistics. The U.S. Census 2019 American Community Survey and America's Health Rankings Senior Report 2019 data were also used to provide demographics on the senior population of each state and the state's rank on senior health care, respectively.
