“Giving Tree Grants”

Texarkana Area nonprofit organizations are invited to apply for grants from the Texarkana Area Community Foundations.Applications for the "Giving Tree Grants" may be made on line at the website of the Arkansas Community Foundation, arcf.org.  The grant application deadline is August 15.

Organizations that qualify for grants are IRS 501(c)(3) charities in Miller, Bowie, Little River, Sevier, Howard, and Hempstead Counties. Charities includ food pantries, medical clinics, educationa organizations and family helps. Applications will be reviewed by a grant making committee from the Texarkana Area local board of directors.

The Texarkana Area Community Foundation makes grants to improve the quality of life and collaborates with organizations to build  local communities through philanthropy. The Texarkana Area Community awarded 118 grants totaling over $160,000 dollars in the 20120-20122 Giving Tree Cycle. Most grants range from $50 to $2,000 dollars.
