My stepson and I took a trip to Bossier City last week and wound up having to take a detour through downtown Shreveport to get home. The flooding was completely over the interstate and the Boardwalk looked pretty rough.

It was stop and go on I-220 going east bound and the west bound side was completely closed. Our side was down to one lane but it looked like they were about to open the other lane soon. I could see where the water had been up over the east bound side. The road crew was working on moving the sandbags out of the way. It was amazing to see how much water was everywhere.

The Boardwalk was open but part of the sidewalks on the river's front were under water still. We had to take the downtown route to get back to Texarkana.

This other video is from a bridge shortly after crossing the Arkansas state line.
