First Ever GTYP Golf Tournament Slated For June 25th

The Greater Texarkana Young Professionals (GTYP) recently partnered with Commercial National Bank to provide scholarships to three local high school seniors, those awards were made this week. In June, the GTYP would like you to join them for their first-ever golf tournament to help pay for next years scholarship program.

Congratulations again to the award recipients announced recently;

$1000 to Evette Martinez Espinosa of Dekalb ISD
$500 to Scarlett Fannin of Dekalb ISD
$250 to Raven Ivory of Texas High.

GTYP, in association with the Texarkana USA Chamber of Commerce is proud of all of our local high school seniors and would like seniors to know that GTYP is here to help with their career and higher education pursuits. GTYP is also happy to announce that they will have their First Annual Benefit Golf Tournament on June 25 at New Haven Golf Club in Texarkana, Arkansas.

Four-Man Scramble
Shotgun start at 2 PM
$75 per person, $300 per team
Prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin
Awards ceremony following the tournament.
Dinner will be provided by El Chico’s
All players will receive a goodie bag

Even though things have been tough over the last few months, GTYP was still able to raise over $5000 for local nonprofits and gave out total of $500 in gift cards to local nurses during Nurses Appreciation Week. GTYP is looking to finish the year out with a lot of fun and charitable events.
