Fall Downtown Bike Tours Are Back
The fall 'Bike Tours' are back next month in downtown Texarkana.
Fridays in October will be Bike Days this fall in the Downtown Texarkana Arts and Historic District. Here is all the information from their Facebook page.
The tours are made possible through a grant from the Union Pacific Foundation and this Fall we will focus on the history of our downtown churches. Also, for the October 18th date we will partner with the Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council, Inc. for ghost tours and movies at the Perot.
To support this effort, free guided bike tours of the District will be offered every Friday in October. Tours will begin and end at the Museum of Regional History and take place from 5:15 – 6:30 PM. Participants will be able to rent a bike from Texarkana’s UPcycle Bike Rental Program or bring their own.
While reservations are not required, bike rentals are limited and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. You can rent them here.
