Drug Task Force, FBI & Homeland Security Make 2 Texarkana Arrests
Two men have been arrested in Texarkana Arkansas after a search warrant was issued for a house on Pecan Street in Texarkana, Arkansas.
Yesterday, November 9 the Bi-State South District Drug Task Force working with the FBI and Homeland Security searched the house located in the 2200 block of Pecan Street.
According to a press release from the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department Authorities seized:
1.49 lbs of suspected Methamphetamine, 7.5 grams of suspected cocaine, two assault-style rifles and one handgun, approximately $14,000.00 is cash, three vehicles and drug paraphernalia related to the sales and distribution of illicit narcotics.
Arrested were 26-year-old Ajene Rashodd on state warrants for alleged trafficking a controlled substance (Schedule II Methamphetamine). Federal charges are expected to follow. The second man arrested is 35-year-old Latrace Shenay Cornelius. He was charged with two counts of possession and use of weapons by a certain person.
Both were taken to the Miller County Jail
