Hurricane Harvey has left a wake of people and animals in need of assistance in its path. Three animal groups in Texarkana are hoping to ease some of the pain endured by the four legged victims by collecting supplies and money to help out.

Partners for Paws Texarkana, Inc., Texarkana Animal League, Inc., and Kitties Pad Rescue have partnered to take up collections for the animal victims of the devastating flood caused by Hurricane Harvey. They are collecting supplies and monetary donations to help provide aide. The plan is to deliver the items on Labor Day or shortly thereafter.

• Outdoor Kennels
• Litter boxes and cleaning supplies
• Collars/ Harnesses / Leashes
• Pet beds
• Litter
• Newspaper
• Flea and Tick prevention for cats and dogs
• Food scoops
• Gift cards to Walmart, PetSmart, Home Depot, Lowes, and for gas
• Towels
• Storage bins for dry storage
• Medical Supplies such as wound cleaners, bandages, antibiotic ointments
• Puppy pads
• 1- and 2- gallon zip loc bags
• Gloves – disposable and work
