The Discovery Place Interactive Museum presents 'Portraits and Stories' on Saturday at 2 PM.

March is 'Women’s History Month' and the museum will be discussing many different women that changed history, but they will focus on the painter Frida Kahol who is known for her self portraits.

While the museum staff will discuss Frida and her works your kids will create their own self-portrait. They will be reading a story about Frida and will have a list of books that kids can pick up at our local library if they are interested in learning more about any of the women we discuss.

The first Boredom Buster will be Saturday and the event will be $5 for the general public and free for TMS members and kids 3 and under. Who knows maybe they might find the next Frida Kahol?
