‘Day Of Pride’ Saturday Downtown Featuring Stephanie Rice

Celebrate Pride in historic downtown Texarkana with the "Day Of Pride" celebration. 

This Saturday, everyone is invited to join the pride celebration in historic downtown Texarkana. This event will consist of a Pride Parade followed by a Pride Festival.

Equality Texarkana is excited to announce that Stephanie Rice will be serving as the Grand Marshal of the parade this year, and will be putting on a full concert during the festival.

The parade begins at 10 AM and the event will conclude at 5 PM.

Equality Texarkana:

is the preeminent non-profit organization in the greater Texarkana

area dedicated to equality. They to be advocates and defenders of the LGBTQ

community and to stand up for anyone who is affected by inequality. With the help of

allies, they strive to foster a sense of community and unity among all people through

public events, education, and mental health services. Members of Equality Texarkana

are committed to living a life based on respect, tolerance, and acceptance of others no

matter their ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, or
