Nolan Ryan's New COVID PSA for Texans, 'Don't Be A Knucklehead'

When you think about Texas sports heroes, it shouldn't take you very long at all to get this man's name, Nolan Ryan, the strikeout king with over 5000 of those, 27 years in the majors. In fact, he played so long in an Astros and Rangers uniform, I forgot he played to two other teams before coming home to Texas. When the Great State of Texas needs someone to do a COVID-19 Public Service Announcement, there's not many better people you can get than the Ryan Express.

The Office of the Governor and Baseball Hall-Of-Famer, Nolan Ryan today, Wednesday, June 10, 2020), released a new public service announcement (PSA) entitled, "Don't Be A Knucklehead." In the PSA, Ryan encourages all Texans to follow effective health and safety protocols like washing their hands, social distancing, and wearing a mask.
