A New Button on Facebook to “Sympathize”

I hate 'liking' a bad news post by someone but what other choice do you have? Well Facebook is considering adding a new button for posts because sometimes clicking "like" isn't always so appropriate.

As it stands now if someone writes a post about the death of a loved one or an illness or accident, you can click "Like" but it really doesn't mean that your friend likes that you're sick or injured. It really means that they sympathize with what you're going through. So, to make things a little less awkward, Facebook is thinking about adding a "Sympathize" button to more somber posts.
