5 Free Things You Can Do in Texarkana This Weekend

Summer is here and with this being the first weekend of summer, here are 5 free cool things to do in Texarkana this weekend. Most of these are definitely kid friendly, although the movie may be a little boring for the young ones.

1. Texarkana Regional Arts Juried art exhibit. This is your chance to see some great art from local artists. You can go Saturday from 10am-4pm ans the center is located on 321 West 4th Street.

2. Moonlight and Movies. This is a free event at the Ace of Clubs house on Friday at 7:30PM.

3. Sparks in the Park. A free event with fireworks, kids activities, and live music on Saturday.

4. Healthy Living Series. This free event will be Saturday frojm 7am-11am and will be held at the farmers market at 305 Texas Blvd. in Texarkana.

5. Weekly Summer Story Time. Free story time for kids on Friday morning from 10-10:30am. Texarkana Lifeway Christian Store 4520 St. Micheal Drive in Texarkana.
