5 Cool Things You Can Do in Texarkana This Weekend

Summer is winding down and some folks are heading back to school in a couple of weeks here and with the heat coming at us full force, here are 5 cool things to do in Texarkana this weekend. 

1. Splash Pad. You can cool off on these hot days for free at the Texarkana Rotary Splash Pad in Spring Lake park. Don't forget they will be closed from Monday and Tuesday.

2. Arts on Main Summer Camps. Kids and adults can enjoy art in the camps offered all summer long. Arts on Main is located at  218 Main Street in downtown Texarkana.

3. Bright Star Theater Presents "Texarkana Musical Artists Meetup'. A chance for local artists to meet up and show thier skills. This is happening tomorrow from 2 til 5 at 2729 New Boston Road in Texarkana.

4. Great Live Music. Texarkana has a wide variety of great live music venues. If you like it Country or Rock you will find what you are looking for this weekend in Texarkana.

5. 8th Annual Best Salsa in the Ark La Tex. Check out some great Salsa and of course you can see all that the Texarkana Farmers market has to offer.
