TRAHC Build A Bowl Workshop Thursday And Saturday

The Texarkana Regional Arts Center is having a build a bowl workshop September 7 and 9.
Attendees can explore the pottery process with instructor Chris Thomas. They will make three different bowls and get to do all of the owrk from the concept of the bowls construction to the final glazing.

All materials are provided for the class finished bowls will be available approximately two weeks after the workshop. The class will take place on Thursday from 6:30 til 8:30 and Saturday from 10-12. The class is open to all adults and will be held in the regional arts buildings basement.

Chris Thomas had a pretty interesting path to the passion she has for pottery. She has degrees in Theology and Child Development. Chris then enrolled in the ceramics course at Texarkana College an found her passion. Her passion is now her business producing functional pottery.
