Iowa School Considers Shooting Down Grade System
A school board in Iowa is considering eliminating the A, B, C, D, and F grade system in their 6th, 7th and 8th grades and replacing them with "standards-based reporting" which means that students would be rated "beginning, developing, secure or exceeds" in 10 to 12 objectives per subject.
