After a lengthy legal battle, the Marvin Gaye family has come out victorious in their copyright-infringement case against Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams. On Tuesday (March 10), a California federal jury found Thicke and Williams guilty of copying Gaye’s 1977 song “Got to Give It Up” for their 2013 hit “Blurred Lines.”
Maybe it'll work, maybe it won't, but you've got to give the guy credit for trying. We're talking about Robin Thicke's 2014 BET Awards performance of his new song 'Forever Love,' dedicated to his estranged wife Paula Patton.
Robin Thicke is not going down without a fight. He and Paula Patton may have "mutually" decided to separate after eight years of marriage (they had been together for more than 20), but the 'Blurred Lines' singer says that all he is trying to do is get his wife back.
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is usually an event dominated by rockers and soul artists, but every once in a while, a pop star will make an appearance. This year, two big ones are among the headliners: Christina Aguilera andRobin Thicke.
