March 18, 2013 There is a news story out of New York state that has thrown me a bit. It seems that there is now proof that a politician is a liar, and quite possibly a stoned hypocrite... SHOCKING!
A man drove from Long Island, New York, into Lower Manhattan earlier today in a van he thought was filled with explosives. He parked the van close to the Federal Reserve building, just a few blocks from the World Trade Center, and planned to detonate it using a cell phone from a nearby hotel.
The explosives, however, were fake.

June 10, 2011 Severe thunderstorms forced the Black Eyed Peas to cancel a free benefit concert in New York's Central Park Thursday night, angering tens of thousands of fans who waited hours in the rain to see them perform.
The concert, which was being held to benefit the Robin Hood Foundation, an anti-poverty organization, was initially delayed a number of times, before lightning led to a last-minute cancellation.
