May 18, 2011 Actress Lisa Edelstein confirmed today that she will not return to the popular Fox series 'House' for an eighth season.
"After much consideration, I am moving onward with a combination of disappointment at leaving behind a character I have loved playing for seven years and excitement of the new opportunities in acting and producing that lie ahead," the actress said in a statement.

Fox Cancels ‘America’s Most Wanted’
May 17, 2011 'America's Most Wanted' is officially no longer wanted on Fox, as the network announced Monday that it is canceling the long-running program after 23 years on the air.
The reason: The show was no longer profitable, according to Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly.
"It's been an important show for us historically," he said. "We haven't made money on the show in quite a while. It wasn't particularly viable. We wanted to keep the franchise alive. John is having conversations about ways to keep the series alive."

Fox Cancels Lie to Me, and Human Target
May 11, 2011 Fox delivered a slew of bad news to TV fans late Tuesday evening.
The network officially canceled five of its series, among them 'Lie to Me' (pictured) and 'Human Target.' Both 'Lie' and 'Target' - which lasted three and two seasons, respectively - averaged just 7.6 million viewers this season, according to EW.com.

Mariah Carey to Join The X Factor
April 19, 2011 In a recent radio interview, former 'American Idol' judge Simon Cowell confirmed that Grammy-winning superstar Mariah Carey will be involved with FOX's 'The X Factor.'
But wait -- does this mean she'll be a judge? In a word, no.
Cowell told radio personality Jackie Brown that Carey won't be on the judges' panel, due to her pregnancy, but she'll still be part of the show in some capacity.
