To celebrate the release of one of our favorite blogs-turned-books, 'Underwater Dogs,' here are some pictures that helped bring photographer Seth Casteel such great success. There are two things we know for sure about puppies: they’re unpredictably hilarious and sometimes have adorably strange antics. Remember our favorite dogs going to town on peanut butter? That’s the kind of silly stuff we love. Well canine fans of all ages, we’ve discovered dogs have yet another highly underrated quirk, and it comes in the form of shoes.

This is what I came home to last night. My rescued dog Sophie apparently got hungry or didn't like that I left her in charge of guarding the dog food.

Archer is approximately one and one-half years old. He is a Shepherd/Lab mix. Beautiful and mellow. Huggable and sweet. Walks good on a leash.

Star is a beautiful, young husky. She is only about one year old. Poor girl doesn't look like she has ever been bathed or brushed.

Sweet Amanda is a sweet dog that will make a great pet for a single person or a family. She is approximately one year old and looks like a mix of Lab and Shepherd. She weighs about 25 pounds. Amanda is a little shy but will work out of that quickly once she gets into a home. Amanda comes with a free wellness exam from Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital.

Teddy is a 2 year old black and silver Yorkie mix at the Texarkana Arkansas Animal Care and Adoption Center. He is very sweet and walks well on a leash. When you adopt Teddy you also get a certificate for free wellness exam from Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital.
