Once again the National Weather Service is predicting a deluge of rain to hit the area later today thru Wednesday.  Forecasts call for a chance of 6 to 8 inches of rain across a large portion of the Four States Area including Texarkana. Isolated spots across portions of the area could see up to 10 inches in the next few days.

Now the weather service forecast this same amount a couple of weeks ago and we got less than half that much but the forecasters feel more confident that this may happen this go around. If you live in low lying or flood prone areas you might want to take precautionary measures before the rain sets in.

Also in the forecast is the possibility for Severe Thunderstorms which would include a chance for large hail, damaging winds and even isolated Tornadoes.
