New Movie Release in Texarkana This Weekend – ’21 Jump Street’

There is one movie opening this weekend in Texarkana: 21 Jump Street is an action movie starring Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Brie Larson, Rob Riggle and Ice Cube. The story is about cops going undercover to bust a high-school drug ring in a remake of the TV classic by the same name.

Two bumbling goof-balls named Schmidt and Jenko are ready to leave their adolescent problems behind but nothing seems to go right for them. They join the police force and wind up a part of the secret Jump Street unit where they use their youthful appearances to go undercover in a local high school. They find that high school is nothing like they remember. Not only do they have to try and find the bad guys, they have to confront the terror and anxiety of being a teenager again. They find all the issues they thought they had left behind.

The movie is listed as an "action/adventure" but I would probably list it as a comedy as well because it is freakin' HILARIOUS! After watching the trailer I am ready to grab my popcorn and find a good seat to see the entire movie.
