The Texarkana Museums System will have a murder mystery called “The Auction” on Saturday at the P. J. Ahern Home in Historic Downtown Texarkana.Guests will enjoy some great 1940's themed murder mystery gameplay and dinner. The guests are expected to arrive at 5 pm. Reservations must be made by Thursday.

Here is a little information as what to expect on Saturday.

An evening of bidding and bloodshed awaits at the P. J. Ahern Home. Following the tragic death of the Baroness Audry Von Munchen, her famous artifacts are being sold to the highest bidder. We would welcome your presence at this auction and to the reading of her will, but take care. Danger lurks among the auction guests and the highest bid could be for murder.

Come out Saturday and pit yourself against other guests as you take on the persona of an auction guest or heir to the Baroness. This game is set in the 1940s, so pull out your best period-specific attire for the event.  When you make your reservation you will receive your character’s biography and special notes on how to play the game along with notes on 1940s costumes.
