Mariah Carey to Perform on Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular

Looks like there will be both an American Idol judge and a Voice judge appearing this year on NBC's annual Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular.  Following the announcement that Usher would be curating the overall design of this year's show, Mariah Carey has just signed on to perform.

The special, hosted by Mariah's husband Nick Cannon, will air Thursday, July 4 from 8 to 10 p.m. ET.  This year's theme is "It Begins with a Spark," and in addition to Usher's involvement and Mariah's performance, country superstar Tim McGraw will also be appearing.
