Long-Time Texarkana Nightclub to Close Saturday

A staple of Texarkana nightlife will close its doors after 18 years in Texarkana.

The Electric Cowboy, a country music dance club, announced on social media last night that it would shut its doors for good on Saturday night.

A representative for the business posted.

This Saturday will be the the last night of Electric Cowboy Texarkana. 18 years is one hell of a run, I don't care what anyone says. First and foremost, We would like to thank each and everyone of our staff over the past 18 years, most of ya'll have been great.

 

Next, we would like to send a very sincere thank you to all the customers, many of which we call friends, who have graced us with your presence over the past 18 years. Without you, none of this would have been possible.

So, please make sure and come out this weekend for one last party.

The Electric Cowboy used to be The Pines nightclub back in the days when I used to frequent the Texarkana club. What are your thoughts on this icon closing?
