Miller County Deputies are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a local hunter whose body was found late Tuesday night.

Cass County Deputies were called to the home of 54-year-old James Druhan when he did not return home from a hunting trip. After finding out the location of where Mr. Druhan was hunting was in South West Arkansas, officials with Cass County contacted the Miller County Sheriff's office to aid in the search.

Deputies discovered Mr. Druhan dead at his dear stand near midnight Tuesday. Investigators believe it was an accident and do not believe it was suicide. Deputies found his muzzle loader rifle near his stand.

The investigation is being handled by the Miller County Sheriff's Department and the Arkansas State Police. The body has been sent for an autopsy and the investigation continues.
