Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan reportedly made a surprise appearance on 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno' Monday night.

In an interview scheduled to air tonight, the 24-year-old 'Mean Girls' star opened up about her recent court appearance, in which a judge sentenced her to 120 days in jail for violating her probation.

According to US Mag, Lohan called the sentence "shocking," adding it left her "kind of numb."

"I think that when, you know, being young and being in the position I was in, you don't really take the time to appreciate what you have and it's all kind of a whirlwind, and people make decisions for you," she said. "But I'm not a kid anymore -- I'm 24. I've made a lot of mistakes and I recognize that. I'm in the clear now, and as long as I stay focused, I can achieve what I want to achieve."

Lohan -- who received a standing ovation from the 'Tonight Show' audience -- appears to be sticking to her word, at least when it comes to her career. The actress recently signed on for two mob-related movies from producer Mark Fiore, including 'Gotti: Three Generations,' starring John Travolta as infamous mobster John Gotti.
