Lady Gaga's upcoming album ARTPOP will no doubt feature the singer exploring all kinds of new sounds and ideas, but it appears that there'll be one thing on the disc that will be somewhat familiar.

When a fan asked Gaga via Twitter, "I heard the continuation of telephone will be on ARTPOP! fact or fake?" the star responded, "fact."

"Telephone" is, of course, the Grammy-nominated duet that Gaga recorded withBeyonce that was featured on her album The Fame Monster.  It came with a lengthy, highly-controversial, eye-popping video that was directly influenced by the movies of Quentin Tarantino.  That video, itself a sequel to Gaga's video for "Paparazzi," ended with the words "to be continued."

It's not clear from Gaga's comment whether or not Gaga means that she's actually recorded another duet with Beyonce, or simply a song that continues the story of "Telephone." Or perhaps she means that she plans to make a video for a song on the album, and make that the sequel to the "Telephone" video.  Stay tuned.
