Ken Weathers is a meteorologist from Tennessee and in this very cold video he melted the frost on this windshield in just seconds with a mixture of household products.

Mimi and I talked about the frost on our windshields since we park outdoors and the big hassle it is to get the frost cleared so we can drive into work.

The mix in the bottle is 2/3 rubbing alcohol and 1/3 water. Just mix it up and put it in a spray bottle and spray it on your windshield. The freezing point of the alcohol, which is much lower than water, will cause the frost to just melt away. It seems to work perfectly. A little frost on the windshield is something most of us deal with. And, since we are all in a big hurry, this method of removal not only will speed up the process, it will make it safer to drive since you will not be driving with just a small defrosted spot on your windshield because you are in a big hurry.

Since the alcohol has a lower freezing point it will be safe to store in your car.
