The Bowie County Sheriff's Office arrested a Hooks, Texas, man yesterday in the 1400 block of Garden Road for a felony probation violation warrant. Deputies also discovered the man allegedly had drugs on him as well. Sheriff's deputies say that on April 30, 2015, Deputy Stephen Powell received information as to the whereabouts of Patrick Neal Sullivan, 34, and law enforcement officials subsequently drove to his location to arrest him.

Deputy Powell, Deputy Cole Ogden, Constable Robbie Caudle and Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden Shawn Hervey all went to Sullivan's home in an attempt to serve the warrant. Warden Hervey located Sullivan and he was arrested.

When searching Sullivan upon his arrest, Deputy Powell reportedly located a clear bag containing methamphetamine in Sullivan's pocket. This bag of methamphetamine was later found to weigh around eight grams.

Sullivan was subsequently charged with "Possession of a Controlled Substance Over Four Grams and Under 200 Grams" in addition to the warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the Bi-State Jail where his bond was later set at $40,000 for the Possession of a Controlled Substance charge by Judge Gibson Hadaway. No Bond has been set for Sullivan’s probation violation charge.
