Following is a complete list of events and details:

Civil War Exhibit

The Civil War exhibit will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, April 14 through Saturday, April 19.  It will be located at the Leake-Ingham Building next to the historic McCollum Chidester House at 926 Washington St., Camden, Ark. 71701.

Letters from the Civil War

During “Letters from the Civil War,” costumed actors will share the experiences of the inhabitants of Camden during the Civil War on the outdoor stage located at the historic Postmaster’s Grill in Downtown Camden. This event will be held on Monday, April 14 at 6:30 p.m. at 133 Washington St., Camden, Ark. 71701. Presented by the Tates Bluff Chapter DAR.

Glory

There will be a free screening of the film Glory on Tuesday, April 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the SAU Tech’s Ross Center located at 746 California Ave., Camden, Ark. 71701.

Living History

With “Living History,” costumed actors will tell the stories of families who lived through the occupation. Visit with the solders and learn of the life of a soldier during the war. This event will take place on Friday, April 18 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and on Saturday, April 19 between 9 a.m. and noon. This will be located on Washington Street and California Avenue in Camden. Troops will be camped on Washington Street near homes that were occupied during the war.

Battle of Poison Spring Civil War Reenactment

Come commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Poison Spring during a Civil War reenactment. During this event, Union and Confederate forces will conduct a battle at the Poison Spring Battleground State Park on Highway 76 in Chidester, Ark. This event will take place on Saturday, April 19 at 2 p.m. For more information, contact White Oak Lake State Park at (870) 685-2748.

Closing Ceremonies

Come to Coleman Stadium in Camden, Ark. on Saturday, April 19 at 6 p.m. to close the Sesquicentennial of the Battle of Poison Spring with your friends and family. The closing ceremony will include choirs presenting music of the Civil War, speakers and a commemoration to the soldiers who lost their lives at the Battle of Poison Spring.
