It is time for the second annual Dine on the Line in Texarkana on Saturday, Oct 1. This is a family fun day for all ages. It is a unique opportunity to get folks together in our wonderful downtown Texarkana atmosphere while eating great food and meeting new friends.

Long tables stretch from the Federal Courthouse straight down State Line Avenue. Mingle with friends until the toast to the community at sunset and dinner is served. Naaman's will serve up a scrumptious meal in the middle of the road for a dinner experience like no other. The purpose of the event is to raise money for revitalization of our beautiful downtown Texarkana while giving the community an opportunity to find out more about where this town once hustled and bustled.

"This year, with perfect weather, we expect to sell out," said Ina McDowell, Executive Director of Main Street Texarkana. "Last year we had close to 600 people to toast our twin cities. We are excited to add something for everyone in the family. Vendors will be lined along 4th Street offering a variety of items. Also new this year is a giant sandbox and activities for kids in front of Discovery Place. All ages will have a great time this year."

This event grows bigger every year. Enjoy live music and fun for the kids too. Gates open at 3PM. Music with The Moss Brothers will begin at 6:30PM.
