Two weeks after going gold, DJ Khaled's latest single, titled "I'm the One," has officially reached platinum status. The We The Best Music Group boss celebrated the accomplishment with an Instagram post earlier today (May 23).

"ANOTHER ONE !! I will never stop!! #IMTHEONE PLATINUM!!!!!! #GRATEFUL me and my son will give the world the release date soon ! Very soon!!! @wethebestmusic @epicrecords @rocnation FAN LUV THANK YOU!!" Khaled wrote in a caption that included  an image of the single's cover artwork.

The Justin Bieber, Chance The Rapper, Lil Wayne and Quavo-assisted single, which is all set to appear on Khaled's newest album, Grateful, features a mellow beat and all the feel-good vibes that make the best summer singles. It was clear it was headed to the top from the moment it was released, and probably even before that.

Somewhat predictably, "I'm the One" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, giving Chance his first ever No. 1 record. Needless to say, that's not bad, and Khaled should only continue to level up as the weeks pass.

The hype train for Grateful started off pretty fast when he dropped the Jay Z and Beyoncé-assisted single, "Shining," back in February. That hype will likely jump to an even higher height if and when he drops the track featuring those Drake vocals he's always waiting on. We'll have to wait and see.
