Demi Lovato Playing Santana’s Love Interest in Glee

Looks like Demi Lovato's upcoming role in Glee will feature the singer/actress as we've never seen her before: kissing a girl.

Glee star Naya Rivera, who plays Santana on the show, tells MTV that Demi will play her love interest on the upcoming season of the show.  "I'm very, very excited about that," Naya says. "We get to sing a song together. It's gonna be good. I'm excited to work with her. We're bringing her to the dark side...she comes in in a Beatles episode, so [we're singing] a Beatles song. I'm excited."

Rumor has it that the Beatles tune the two will sing together is "Here Comes the Sun."

For her part, Demi is thrilled to be joining the Fox show.  "I can't believe I'm going back to acting but the best part about it is that I get to act/sing with some of my really great friends," she tweeted.

As previously reported, Demi's character, described as a "struggling artist," will appear in the New York City-set portions of the show. She'll reportedly also interact with and perform with Adam Lambert, who's also joining the show this season.
