‘Cultural Potluck and Pie Contest’ Saturday

The Texarkana Famer's Market will be hosting a 'Cultural Potluck and Pie Contest' Saturday at the Silvermoon on Broad.

The Potluck meal will take place at the Silvermoon On Broad, Saturday from 5 pm until 8 pm  While Thanksgiving might have originated as an American Holiday, and now is known by turkey, rolls, and dressing, we know it’s celebrated in different ways all over the world. The Texarkana Farmers Market had this to say about the upcoming event:

The Texarkana, Texas Farmers' Market is an open-air market in historic downtown Texarkana that provides an avenue for local vendors to sell their products while promoting healthy, locally grown food.
